all i want to do is make music, perform it, and live freely. thats it.
and it seems that lately the business and fluff of it all has really made me forget what its all about.
this is just a reminder.

Here I am singing “Zombie” by The Cranberries, courtesy of the wonderful Tone and “Live at the Loft”
…can grow into a beast.
i grew up thinking being myself wasn’t allowed.
being anything but who i am is the most painful and confusing thing ever.
i’m a great student.
i listened and watched and learned.
i did what i was told.
to end up completely confused about what it really is.
so now I’m left to unlearn everything.
and decide what my life is.
i will say though,
however uncomfortable, i am glad to have been given this life.
this life of extreme contrast.
to turn it all around.
i was born into a world i “don’t belong” in.
but i belong because i exist.
i exist because someone before me wanted things to expand.
ever generation out-grows another.
with love for my family, i understand that I’m here to take their lives a step further by being different.
by doing all the things they were afraid to.
by stepping out on my own.
fearlessly.
fear is a stank bitch.
but she shows you what you need to see to kill her.
consider me a murderer.
and now with that fear leaving me,
im evolving into something else.
i feel it.
and if anger is a step up from sadness,
I’m mad as shit.
see y’all on the next step.
love hard.
