So it looks like and update is in order…
First off… some dates have changed. Not because we love to keep you all hanging on a thread, but because lessons are being learned.
The day.break web exclusive hit iTunes on Nov. 13th and is scheduled to hit several other online retailers on Dec. 4th. Links coming soon.
What else is going down on Dec. 4th? Loads of treats to giveaway!
Free music downloads, promotional items, and a contest or two.
All going down on Dec. 4th but just to be clear…

Additional release dates on the way…
It’s been 1 week since the day.break web exclusive hit iTunes and what a week it’s been?!? Much has transpired over last 7 or 8 days. It’s really quite impressive looking back at it all. New friendships were made, new bonds were formed, new fans were unearthed, hell… new play count records were broken. There’s a long list of “new things” with loads more to come. We’re happy to announce that on Nov. 27th the web exclusive will extend to other online retailers. Which mean up until next tuesday the only way to preview/purchase day.break will via iTunes. So anyone who hasn’t picked it up yet can look forward to another week of asking around and drooling before they can bootleg it. : P and while they’re droolign, the can check out the photos from the D.C. listening. Shots from the live performance will be up tomorrow.

With all the love okayplayer.com has shown Muhsinah since the release of day.break last tuesday it came as a bit of a surprise to see all of the wonderful things El Keter, okp’s resident blogger, had to say today; almost a week later
Excerpted: Feeling something like a Hip-Hop-influenced take on the Rotary Connection’s psychedelic mix of Soul, Jazz, and Pop, day.break finds Muhsinah’s ethereal multi-tracked vocals scuttling through, skittering around, and soaring over a dust-coated array of cavernous drum-beats, hand-claps, and dirtily-filtered and chopped samples that would make Madlib and Dilla proud.
With the success of the web exclusive release on iTunes we can only hope that the love continues to pour in as availability of the web exclusive extends other digital retailers Nov. 27th and as we prepare to release the CD and the Limited Edition 2.0 disc with the help of the good folks at Fat Beats.
