1. My name is pronounced Mu•see•na.
2. In my spare time I like to read, sketch (which I promise share more of soon) and watch children’s movies (because they have the BEST and most imaginative scores).
3. From the ages of 3-8, I studied ballet.
4. I started playing piano at age 11. (…as in 17 years ago. Gah!)
5. In 2005 I received my certification for Pro Tools engineering.
6. I can sight read sheet music, write music notation and arrange for big band and/or orchestras.
7. On stage, I almost exclusively play a voyager or little phatty synthesizer as I am endorsed by moog music.
8. As a member of Common’s band I’ve performed fon two separate occasions. Once at the hometown inaugural ball and later at the 2010 democratic rally in Hyde Park, Chicago.
9. In 2010 I was nominated for a “Best Vocal Performance” Grammy® in the Urban Alternative Category, for my work with The Foreign Exchange.
10. I generally write, arrange, produce, compose, record and even mix all my own music.
**. BONUS FACT: For my 28th birthday I released the‘Gone’ double EP,

The ‘Gone’ 2xEP is essentially 2 EPs in one – (Urban & Suburban) where I take 3 songs ideas and interpret them based on my early experiences in D.C. and Virginia. Hope you enjoy!
