Touring On Demand: Bring Muhsinah to Your City!

Fans, keep reading to find out what you can do to help make a show happen in your city…

Along with the accolades that came with the release of the “Gone” 2xEP, came lots of requests for interviews and live performances – including a flood of “Come to [insert your city]!!!” messages on my Twitter and Facebook feeds.

As novel an idea as it seems, to just pack my guys into an SUV and pull up at some unsuspecting venue to rip them a new stage… I can’t really do that. Well, I can but I’d probably run out of money somewhere between Pittsburgh and Cleveland and have to turn back before I ran out of gas.

It takes lots of planning to string together a solid run of shows. And if there’s one thing I learned in my short lived touring career, it’s that tours are HUGE, painstaking productions that span beyond booking and equipment hauling because you have to ensure that everyone stays sheltered, fed and NOT broken down on the side of the road.

That being said, I stand by my recent statement:

If you can get 100 people in a room, I will bring my band to play for them. No ifs, ands, or buts about it! #OneHundred”

So yeah, I’m game if YOU are lovies!!!
The fact is… I’m ready to hit the road hard but I will only book dates where the demand for a show is clearly established. Which is exactly where you folks come!

If you or someone you know can help fill your city’s facebook group with potential ticket holders ie. 100+ group members, talking to club owners about booking dates becomes a whole lot easier on my end and increases the likelihood that I’ll be able to schedule a tour stop for all 100 of you to come to!
Want to know where to start? Just follow the steps below –

These are your “3 Easy Steps to Bringing Muhsinah to Your City”:

1. Choose your city from the list on the right, click “Bring Muhsinah to My City!” and Join the Facebook Group.
2. Invite the 2 people “most likely to buy a ticket” to the live show, to your city’s group page.
3. Post links to your favorite Muhsinah song(s), video(s) and/or interview(s), to share with other group members.

That’s it! So now that I’m in the beginning stages of planning my very 1st cross country road tour, for May 2012 I need you guys to to SHOW ME THE NUMBERS! Just imagine what might happen if each individual group member participates as suggested… the possibilities are ENDLESS!

NOTE: If your city isn’t listed on this page, please leave a comment below with your city name and/or the closest city you would be willing to travel to and we’ll do our best to get a group added.
